On the day of the wedding, the venue looked absolutely stunning - high quality, beautiful, classy, and perfectly clean. As someone who is easily overwhelmed, she was a godsend. The rest of the staff like Allison, her right hand, and the servers and bartenders were incredible. Dinner was the best meal I have ever had. We’ve been a bit indecisive and have asked Calla for several different proposals and contract redrafts, and she’s handled everything with such grace and patience. While we haven’t booked yet, I wanted to share how pleased we were with the touring process. Calla made it easy and enjoyable, and we’re hopeful that things will continue smoothly if we move forward. I’ll definitely update my review once we finalize our plans, but for now, I highly recommend Calla for anyone in the early stages of wedding planning!

her that I could sit out there all day and enjoy the view of the grounds. The pavilion is one of the best I have seen. It is completely covered so that your guest are not over heating from the Texas sun. The Barn wow! Who would have thought you could use elegant, and beautiful to describe a barn. It truly is a place that has it all.
We did see other Barn venues but what sold me was Macie’s tour and explanation of things to do. She provided so many options. Also the package deals are very reasonable.
The things that sold me are

The package that provides all the vendors you need. No need to search for Florist, Bakery, Photographer, DJ, The invitations. It’s like a one stop shop. Less stress for me. Very thankful I found Morgan Creek Barn but most important Macie’s assistance. Thank you

enough! She took care of anything and everything you could think of. She was extremely professional and kept everyone on schedule. She made sure everything ran seamless - to the point she knew what I needed before I did. I would absolutely get married at the Milestone Aubrey if I had to do it again (but don’t plan on it ;) ). My only regret is I would’ve used my own DJ, however all other vendors were awesome and took so much stress out of planning.

Will definitely recommend Morgan as the planner she did a good job on timeline and helping us with any changes we wanted to do.
Also Melissa our day of coordinator did a great job making sure our day went smoothly and she even help us with ideas for decorations!
I will still recommend them since everything turned out beautiful and the nacho bar was a hit for appetizers!

ns we could have asked (such as changing photo schedules to get golden hour pictures, or placing signs in more appropriate places). We just wish we would've known how on top of things she would be to save us time planning beforehand (type A bride here). Some of the communication between vendors wasn't always communicated the same way during the planning process due to the nature of multiple vendors/planner/day-of coordinator, such as the wedding playlist notes given to the DJ and planners would ask us questions we already answered. But not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. We opted out of doing the videographer and cake with our package, and we did end up having to spend a lot more money and DIY on the florals package. The florals from the venue were beautiful, but super pricey so just FYI. I am still glad they did the more complex florals like the staircase and the cross at the Altar. The catered food was great, we had the honey mustard chicken dish and it was great! Even as honeymoon leftovers. We had Daniel as our DJ with the venue and he was great! He understood our vibe and during the wedding, when we asked him to return to our playlist we had worked hard on rather than one similar, he did so immediately. The Milestone was our dream venue. The bridal suites and additional family suite were amazing and so spacious. We had a big wedding (271 people responded yes to attending), and it wasn't too outrageously packed. We highly recommend this specific venue. As you are going through the package deals (which definitely helped during a 4 month engagement), think about which vendors you truly need. Ask to up front about the ways you can get more hours added to the rental (such as a free hour to do a rehearsal on the day-of) and check the contract for the base hours of bar service because we realized we only had 3 hours to begin with and had to add more. So some hidden fees, but I feel that is with every venue/vendor and we still valued having vendors chosen for us with our short engagement. All-in all, highly recommend, especially for short engagements and big weddings.

nce stand out was the wedding coordinators, Morgan, Kaleigh and Melissa. When I tell you I had the most peaceful, happy, non-stressful wedding day... I mean it.
Morgan helped us get everything together before the day, she gave us tips and helped me really understand everything so that by the time everything was handed to the day of coordinators Kaleigh and Melissa... everything was handled so beautifully.
When I talked to Kaleigh, she treated every single thing like it was important to her that it go right and the way I wanted. I felt like I was in such good hands, like the person coordinating our wedding genuinely cared about us and our experience. Then when the day came and Melissa took over, everything went perfectly. She knew exactly what to do and when, she was calm and had really good advice, she gave us the space to do what we needed and yet we always felt like we had a seamless guiding hand making sure everything went perfectly.
The venue is beautiful, but Morgan, Kaleigh and Melissa were worth their weight in gold. The peace of mind, the comfort and the behind the scenes seamless work they did to make everything perfect meant the world to my now husband and I. They gave me the peace of mind I needed to just enjoy and be present with my new husband and our friends and family. I can't thank ya'll enough for the beautiful day you gave me and my husband.

wedding day was perfect. My only complaint is that when I had my initial tour, the woman I worked with was very adamant about it being "all inclusive" and I asked specific questions like "are you sure it's all inclusive? We have 9 groomsmen and you're telling me all their suits are included?" and she said yes.... Come to find out after the fact that you are provided credits to different vendors and don't even cover the bare minimum, so there ended up being A LOT of additional out of pocket expenses that I didn't expect. The same thing happened with stationary and floral.
On the topic of suits and tuxes, the company that they use is terrible. We were told that the company is only online so the groomsmen could go to any store, like Men's Warehouse, to get measured and look at styles and they would know what they were talking about, and I could submit the measurements and we would receive suits 1-2 weeks before the wedding. All of the boys went to different Men's Warehouse locations and none of them had any clue what they were talking about when they mentioned Jim's Formal Wear, and gave them a hard time about getting measured. I had 0 communication from the company during the entire process. 2 days before my wedding, I still hadn't heard anything and nobody had gotten their suit, so I reached out to my planning rep in a panic and FINALLY the suit person called me. He told me that the suits were "at their headquarters where the boys came to get measured." WHAT?! I am so glad I took off work that day because I had to drive an hour to go pick them up when they were supposed to be shipped to everyone. If I wouldn't have reached out, we would have had no suits. Also, the "all inclusive" suits and tuxes is a $250 credit to this place, which doesn't even cover 2 suits. Luckily, Morgan was extremely helpful with the situation and it all worked out, but it was still very stressful and could have been handled very differently.
Everything else was perfect though! I would highly recommend this venue, but get your own suits and tuxes!

I know that she took the time to sit down and go through every detail in depth with the bride and her family and went above and beyond to make sure the big day was perfect. The staff on wedding day was wonderful as well. From the day of coordinator, to servers, bartenders, and even the regional manager everyone was so kind and accommodating!

As the mother-of-the-bride, we want the wedding of a lifetime to be an unforgettable event... however, it is unforgettable for ALL the wrong reasons. During our first consultation,...
we were told we would have a dedicated wedding planner throughout our short process of planning (6 months). However, that was not the case. We were shuffled through 5 different people with details dropped every time the wedding shifted hands. Contractual items paid for (like a dedicated additional attendant for the bridal party on the wedding day, a cocktail bar set up in the bride's room, etc.) was not honored. The Tux order through the venue was botched and we had to go searching for same-size wedding guests who were wearing jackets that would fit and blend with the wedding theme. Pants had to be purchased last minute (which has yet to be reimbursed) and they have still never taken the wrong tuxes off our hands that belonged to some other wedding party.
Not to mention, they lost a $16K check, right from the start, so there was that hassle of stopping payment and reissuing.
We were assured quick response times, but multiple texts and emails were completely unanswered during all stages of planning making it a total nightmare for vendor deadlines.
Our daughter - the bride - has been patient in trying to work with the venue (since her December wedding) before having anyone from the wedding party post reviews, however, there has yet again been no response from the venue or its management company. Bottom line, and in the words of the bride, "Go somewhere else, don't get stuck like I did."
We hope someone contacts the bride about this. Once they do, I will update this review.

ery welcoming, and they are always excited to talk to you. They never treat you as if they have other clients, or they got done talking to another couple just before seeing you - they give you their undivided attention and it's absolutely phenomenal. Amanda was an absolute God send for our wedding!! We unfortunately had our brass band bail on us last minute that was going to be there for our grand exit. We were a little upset, but we were both just going with the flow at that point. Amanda quickly came up to us saying she had backup options and was able to save the day!! During the planning months, she was always very prompt, very quick to reply, and always knew how to help with our questions. We can't thank not only Amanda enough, but the entire Walters staff for our incredible day!!

h the package offerings. Chelsea Sproles, our planning representative, was very helpful throughout the process. She was also very patient as we HAD A LOT OF QUESTIONS. Early, it took a while to get responses to inquiries but the closer we got to the BIG DAY, the more attentive the team was. The service during the event was amazing. We had approximately 150+ guests. The food was good, and the bar was phenomenal. We had a few hitches along the way but adapted. My daughter and husband were so pleased with how everything turned out and that is all that matters. All the vendors included in the package were GREAT! We took full advantage of them all and added our own special touches here and there. The cost of everything was in line with other venues. Maybe even a bit more reasonable. However, we did feel more secure with this option as we have seen so many couples being scammed in this industry. By having most all the vendors coupled into the contract, it was very reassuring. I would definitely recommend this venue. HOWEVER, know and understand WHAT YOU WANT and READ AND UNDERSTAND THE CONTRACT. We were very cautious of that. In the end, we got what we paid for and in some cases, even more than what we understood. (All was good, but I can see where one may easily be confused and have expectations that may not be fulfilled based upon the process.)

itty details! She has a gentle and calming presence which benefits any bride during the planning process! She was prompt, professional, and detailed in all her responses. We couldn't have asked for a better planning representative through this process.
Chelsea was assigned to us for our day-of coordinator as the venue's General Manager! She was fantastic! Chelsea was on top of all the details for our rehearsal and big day. Chelsea went over and beyond to take on any task she could help with. She helped setup our reception and keep us on schedule throughout the evening of celebration. Chelsea was incredibly professional and felt like a good friend as we celebrated.
At the beginning of the process on the very front end, there was some miscommunication from the sales representative who walked us through signing our contract. When we shared our concerns, the Regional VP, Daniel, assisted in making it right. He was kind, courteous, and professional through a very stressful part of the process. I am confident miscommunication is not the norm, but also wanted to give credit to Daniel for handling the situation so well. We were able to come to agreements that allowed everyone to leave the conversation with peace moving forward together, which lead to a beautiful planning process and wedding with The Milestone by Walters Wedding Estates.

s anticipatory and responsive, the food was excellent, and the venue was beautiful. Our DJ Jeremiah was AWESOME! We are still getting compliments on how great him and Chelsea-our day or planner were. It was absolutely beyond anything we had envisioned. Beyond that, Chelsea made the whole process from our many questions, rehearsal, ceremony and reception easy and enjoyable. She was responsive, flexible, and always professional, and went out of her way to accommodate any and all requests. I cannot recommend the Milestone Aubrey mansion enough!
